You see I am in Kolkata time zone which is UTC+5:30. On the other hand, Windows thinks that the time stored on the hardware clock is local time.

  • I'm having the same issue here, and now believe it's the Ubuntu/Windows dual boot setting that I have which is causing this. Windows 10 an upgrade over older OS, did you ever think of trying a clean install or have you of 10 ?I made an account just to chime in and provide additional info. Make sure have received all windows updates and updated all other system drivers. So one OS on one drive and the other on the other drive, not separate partitions on one drive ? Tried about everything in Windows between Date and Time Settings. Not familiar with dual booting and Ubuntu OS, this was my only other thought since i found out you had Dual Boot.
